The annual Youth Partnership camping weekend and family fun day were held at Outdoor World, Lake and Shore Campground in Ocean View, Cape May County the weekend of July 19th through the 22nd.

The Atlantic and Cape May County Youth Partnerships joined together to spend 4 days camping at the resort, with Campfires and s’mores, as well as talking and laughing until dawn as a nightly event. They took full advantage of everything the resort had to offer during the day, swimming, playing baseball, horseshoes, and basketball. In the evening the resort offered different recreational activities for their enjoyment (the kids loved the karaoke!). Old relationships grew deeper and new friendships were formed… the ACFSO is very proud of our great group of kids!

On Saturday the 21st, many of the families as well as the FSO staff and Board members, joined the kids at Outdoor World for a great family fun day. The families spent the day lounging by the lake and pool, swimming or sliding down the water slides, paddle boating, eating burgers and dogs, and just having good, old fashioned, family fun. Many stayed into the evening and danced on the beach, under the moonlight, to the music of a band supplied by the resort as part of their activities offered to campers.

All in all it was an enjoyable day or weekend for all, (except maybe the chaperones!).
