CHILDREN’S MOBILE RESPONSE (MRSS)

Children’s Mobile Response Service System provides mobile response service to children in Atlantic and Cape May Counties who are experiencing an emotional or behavioral situation that threatens to disrupt their living arrangement. Trained response intervention workers are available 7 days a week to deal with crises at the child’s location for up to 72 hours. They can offer up to eight hours of follow-up service to stabilize the situation based on the needs of the child and caregiver.

YOUTH CASE MANAGEMENT (YCM)

Youth Case Management provides individualized services for children with emotional/behavioral needs. Youth Case Management is a moderate level of face-to-face service coordination. The Youth Case Manager will work with the child and family to locate or to continue with local resources to assist in having a child remain at home within their community.

Cape Atlantic Integrated Network for Kids is a non-profit organization that provides service planning and care management for children with complex emotional and behavioral needs. Care Managers work in partnership with children and their families on Child Family Teams. The teams are selected by the family and may include friends, therapists, teachers and family members all working together to coordinate in-home services and community based support. The team creates an “Individualized Service Plan” to keep children in their community with their families, in school and out of trouble.

Value Options offers toll free information and referral services which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Value Options assists families in finding and accessing services. Value Options is the Contracted System Administrator for the Child Behavioral Health Services. Value Options assists the State of New Jersey with managing the service system, provides administrative and technical support and quality management to help improve services. Value Options serves as the first stop for the families into the Child Behavioral Health Services and tracks care for children and their families.
