Community Food Pantry

Over the past year the ACFSO has partnered with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Southern Branch. In doing this we have opened a small emergency food pantry in our office in Northfield. This pantry was a collaborative project for an Eagle Scout and our own Youth Partnership. They cleaned out a storage closet, re-arranging shelves and boxes to create a useful space for pantry storage. The ACFSO is proud of all of their efforts and thankful to the Eagle Scout, Jim Hughes for pitching in and helping to develop a continuing outreach to our families. Our Youth Partnership is still a big help sorting and stocking, carrying and lifting when food is brought in from The Community Food Bank in Pleasantville.
